The Royal Wedding

yes, i got up at 4:00 am this morning to watch the royal wedding!

i made a coffee cake to have for me and the kids to eat while watching the ceremony. because i knew that if i didn't they would be asking for food the whole time! got them on the bus and then made it back in time to see "the kisses."

then jason comes home and starts in about how it is a waste of money and on and on. i said "i watched princess diana's wedding and therefore i wanted to watch this one too." i think it is a girl thing. i am not even a "girly" girl but what girl doesn't dream of being swept off her feet by a charming prince?

my mother (not a girly girl either) bought a color tv just to watch princess diana's wedding. so it was kind of a big deal. we only had a very small black and white one at the time.

got abbe (my fashionista) up to watch the whole ceremony, and ruth and eian to watch the last 15 minutes of the ceremony and then the HORSES! ruth is all about the horses! eian liked the little boys dressed up.

am now going to try to get some sewing done and then maybe try out my new yudu screen printing machine (half price at michaels).
