My Colored Flower Pots

As you know I spray painted some yard sale flower pots for my back fence. Shown here. They have done wonderfully!

Now. Does anyone know what I should do with the sedum? Can it stay there all winter and last? Does it last anyway or do I just start over next year? They look soooo nice that I would love to have them last til next year to see how big they get.

The rest of the flower bed in front of the pots having different things blooming now. Don't ask me what half of this stuff is. I just plant what I think will look good. Also, some of this stuff moves from year to year.

 These are the vining purple bean plants. They had beautiful light purple flowers too.
